SINGAPORE IS A SMALL CITY-ISLAND, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHERNMOST TIP OF THE MALAYSIAN PENINSULA. IT’S JUST ONE DEGREE NORTH OF THE EQUATOR AND THE TROPICAL CONDITIONS ARE PERFECT FOR SAILING. THE SB20 CLASS IS THE BIGGEST ONE DESIGN FLEET IN THE COUNTRY WITH AROUND 25 BOATS. ALTHOUGH THE WARM CLIMATE IS PERFECT FOR SAILING ALL YEAR ROUND, THE BEST SAILING SEASON IS FROM JANUARY TO MARCH WHEN THE PREDICTABLE NORTHEASTERN MONSOON SETS IN.
