SB20 Class has a strong presence in Ireland, including the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire and the Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven as the leading locations. The Royal Irish Yacht Club was the host of the first ever SB20 World Championship in 2008 and the host of the SB20 Europeans in 2018. In 2022 the SB20 World Championships came back to this fantastic venue for the third time since and gathered over 50 boats.
