It’s finally happening – the SB20 Italian Nationals are back after a decade! From 28th to 30th November 2025, the fleet will gather in Nettuno, just south of Rome, for an event that has already created a real buzz in the Italian sailing community. Excitement is high, the fleet is growing fast, and the atmosphere promises to be everything we love about sailing in Italy – competitive, friendly and full of passion.
After a busy summer of SB20 test events and clinics the Nettuno Yacht Club, together with Marina di Nettuno, Circolo Vela Anzio Tirrena and Devoti Sailing are preparing to welcome up to 15 Italian boats for this long-awaited championship. Demand has been so strong that all charter boats are already booked, but there may still be a chance! Racing will take place over three days in the waters off Nettuno with up to six races scheduled and a maximum of three races per day (or four if needed to catch up). The series will be valid with at least three completed races and one discard will apply after the fourth valid race. Courses will be classic windward-leeward style, promising tight tactical racing and plenty of action for sailors and spectators alike.

Nettuno Yacht Club Welcomes International Teams
The Nettuno Yacht Club recently signed a collaboration agreement with the Royal North Sea Yacht Club, the host of the 2025 SB20 Europeans, to promote and strengthen the SB20 Class across Europe. This partnership has already brought results – at least one Belgian team has confirmed participation in the Nationals and more international entries are warmly invited!
To make the event even more special, Devoti Sailing has announced a special offer for foreign teams: all international crews taking part will be entered into a raffle for three exclusive prizes — a kite, a jib, and a rudder blade. It’s a unique way to celebrate the return of the Italian Nationals and to thank visiting teams for joining the revival.

Saturday, 29 November – First warning 11:30
Sunday, 30 November – First warning 11:30, followed by prize giving
