Porco Rosso’s tactician Will Sargent stated: “Today our helmsman was Miki Romanyk. During the first two races we were trying to process everything onboard and the third everything clicked. We had a great start and are used to strong winds in Hobart.”

After a broken mast yesterday for a Belgian team, today was Julien Bunel’s turn to have a breakage. Despite that, his team is still in second place!
The Nations Cup is extremely tight between France who is leading with their top three boats in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th slightly ahead of UAE who has their top three boats in 1st, 6th and 8th place. The Nations Cup’s name was changed this year to honor Katie Jackson who was the Executive Secretary of the World Council in the first 10 founding years of the class and was instrumental to the success of the class those years. France and UAE will battle it out tomorrow to determine the Nation that takes home the Katie Jackson Nations Cup.
